Graber's Amish Bakery has been built on a pride taken in the quality of product produced. Over the years we have been asked "what makes this an Amish bakery", or "what makes you guy's different". I guess just this.
We aren't looking for the cheapest ingredients we can find to manufacture a product. We aren't looking for the absolutely fastest way of manufacturing it. Of course we want to make it efficiently, but that comes second to quality. Quality is the only thing that transcends time. Price's come and go. They go up and they go down. We all remember when we used to be able to buy something a lot cheaper than what we can buy it today, this is true, but what sticks in your mind, and is passed down thru generations is "quality".
Does anyone ever remember discussing with grandma what the cookies, pie, or cake she made cost? Of course not you simply remember how good it was.
Our goal here at Graber's is not to be the cheapest. If we are that's good, a side benefit.
Our goal here is not to make "good" products.
Our goal is to make "GREAT" products.
There are a lot of good products made by a lot of good companies. There always will be. Our goal is to make something that triggers a memory of something your mother, aunt, or grandmother made.
That has to be a great product.
Our angel food cakes are made the way you would make them at home only faster.
Our noodles are made the way you would make them at home only in larger quantities.
Our goal is to not make a "good" cinnamon roll but to make one that combines the best of everything that everyone considers great about a cinnamon roll.

We are not there on all of our products yet, but we aren't quitting either. We will not be satisfied until we have a product that can be.
